The Role

Working closely with our internal development and project management team, you play a key role in providing clients with creative design/UX services, both for large ecommerce projects for new clients and as part of ongoing ecommerce support and digital marketing services (Design tweaks, Conversion Rate Optimisation and UX Auditing for example) for existing clients.

The role needs a creative, flexible and commercially minded approach to servicing clients and placing the success of their business at the core.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

  • Adept at Commercial Scoping (internally and with clients)
  • Ecommerce Store Wireframing, User Flows, Prototypes
  • End-to-End Ecommerce Store Design
  • Experience/Knowledge/Understanding of Ecommerce UX Principles
  • UX Auditing Skills and Experience
  • Good knowledge/experience of leading UX technologies
  • Great Communication Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Thrives on working effectively to deadlines
  • Commercial Thinking
  • Knowledge/Experience with the Figma platform (Not essential)

About You

Ideally, with great knowledge and experience of applying ecommerce UX principles, you will have worked on ecommerce projects, playing a lead role in end-to-end store design and user experience, and the ongoing store evolution.

You will also have a sound understanding of the role an ecommerce platform (especially Magento/Shopify) plays, notably how the design of features and functions of a store will depend on platform capabilities. Therefore being technically savvy will be an attractive skill set.

You will also be a commercial thinker. Our clients are often looking to our team for insights, knowledge and inspiration on how to improve their store performance. So with the right combination of being creative and analytical, you will thrive on the challenge of helping clients improve their ecommerce performance metrics.

You will enjoy a fast-paced working environment with varied projects to undertake, large and small and thrive on the challenge of delivering them on time, efficiently and to deadline where appropriate.

And whilst experience in ecommerce is highly desirable, we have an extensively experienced team. So, talented and driven junior designers looking for the next step in their careers are invited to apply. Equally, experienced mid-level designers who don’t have extensive ecommerce experience, but have interest in the industry are also welcome to apply.

The Package

  • Up to 32k per annum (depending on experience)
  • 30 Days Holiday Per Year (Inc Bank Holidays)
